ans ....Nylon ropes are usually strong enough. Even it is rough thus having friction and friction in between our palms fixes with that and we get a better grip for climbing. Thus nylon ropes are used as climbing ropes and even for other purposes.

b) Nylon is used in making socks because they are elastic and have more strength. And it does not absorb water it absorbs only less water.It is light in weight.It is wrinkle free fabric.It is very easy to wash.So nylon is used in making socks.
