YOUR ANSWER: Let x's age be = x
y = 7 + x

-------------15 years before-------------

x = x - 15
y = 7 + x -15

Therefore:
(7 + x - 15) 3/4 = x - 15
(-8 + x) 3/4 = x - 15
(-24) + 3x /4 = x - 15
(-24) + 3x = 4x - 60
(-24) + 60 = 4x - 3x
36 = x

Then:
x = 36 years
y = 36+ 7
= 43 years
