Paddy is not grown in winter season as it needs too much water for it's growth so it grows well in rainy season and a suitable temperature is needed for it's growth which it can't get in winter season.

Paddy requires lots of water for its growth.So basically paddy grown in rainy day insteadof winter depending upon tha availability of water..
