Carnivores have shorter small intestine, as compared to herbivores. Carnivores consume only flesh of other animals whereas herbivores consume plant products, which contain cellulose and fibre. Meat is relatively easier to digest and provide more energy.

HERE IS YOUR ANSWER; the length of small intestine differs in various animals depending on the type of food they eat. herbivores need a larger small intestine because it need to allow cellulose to be digested as taken from green plants. as meat can be digested easily, carnivores need not have a larger intestine than herbivores.
