Most of the digestion and all of the absorption actually takes palce in small intestine.Fats and carbohydrates dosent even gets digested in stomach.Their actual digestion takes palce in small intestine, particularly, duodenum.A small part of protein gets digested in stomach but some part of it also gets digested in the duodenum. Also absorption of various nutrients and some part of water is also absorbed by the small intestine.
