Teritary sector is also called as service sector because it includes all branches of human activity whose core is to provide services.

The tertiary sector is the third and the most Important sector in today's world contributing highest to the GDP of a country.
It is also known as service sector because the tertiary sector basically refers to the services being provided by the people in various forms such as labour, teacher, scientist, etc. while primary sector is agriculture and secondary sector is related to manufacturing of new commodities. Tertiary sector refers to growth of new services for the betterment of a country.
