Why is the atomic radius of oxygen larger than nitrogen?

Atomic radius of oxygen is larger than atomic radius of nitrogen ,as nitrogen has more electrons in its outer most shell , resulting in the increase in the force of attraction to the nucleus . Whereas , oxygen has less no. of electrons in its outermost shell.
