Inner walls of guard cells of stomata are thicker than outer walls as the outer walls stretch are more than the inner wall especially causing inner wall to bulge outwards.
Inner guard cell is thicker as they facilitates opening of stomatal pore on transpiration.
The outer wall expands when water enters.
