Why is the negative inductive effect of CN is more than that of Fluorine though the electronegativity difference between Carbon and nitrogen is less than that of Fluorine?

There is triple bond between C and N

So the s-character is more there..

Due to unsaturation the cyno group withdraws the electron more powerfully towards itself when compared with fluorine..
