The poem 'Small pain in my chest" relates the painful story of a soldier serving in a war.The soldier had suffered a fatal wound in his chest, but comparing that to his fellows, he said that he only had a small pain in his chest. This poem highlights the horrors of wars. We come across the agony of the soldier.The young soldier was smiling at its best to hide his pain and asks the narrator if he could help him.
