Why is the size of the cell related to its function???

I think there is no relation between size of the cell and its function. the function of the cell mainly depends on it's structure.
E.g: the neurons,nephrons,blood cells, liver cells(HEPATOCYTES) etc have different structure and performs different functions. the functions performed by one type of cell can't be performed by the other.
Note: if the structure of the cell is simple it is small in size, and if the structure of the cell is complex,the cell will somewhat be bigger than the cell with simple structure.
The another good example is unicellular organisms like amoeba,paramecium etc though they have single small cell,they are capable of performing all seven life process like digestion, respiration, reproduction etc that are performed by complex organisms.
