Sound travels at different speeds depending on what it is traveling through. Of the three mediums (gas, liquid, and solid) sound waves travel the slowest through gases, faster through liquids, and fastest through solids. But, at 20ºC, room temperature, sound travels at 343 meters per second (767 mph).

here is your answer ⤵️
Explanation:
The speed of sound in a particular medium depends on temperature and pressure of that medium. The speed of sound decreases when it passes from solid to gaseous state of a given medium. In any medium, if the temperature increases, the speed of sound also increases and vice versa.
