The voice of the baby is different from an adult because of their different larynx structure. Babies tend to produce high pitched voices whereas adults produce low pitched voices. It also has to do with the frequency of the voice.

As a child has short vocal cords, they produce short air waves and consequently a high pitchedvoice. As a child grows, the vocal cords become longer. That causes the voice to become deeper. Thus,k the voices ofadults are heavier and deeper than children's voices.
