why is the weight of an object on the moon 1/6th it's weight on the earth​

gravitational pull is more in earth as compared to the moon.

Answer:

as gravity of moon is lesser than the gravity of earth. and weight= mass x gravity due to acceleration(is same)

thus weight is directly proportional to the gravity . therefore more the gravity more the weight and lesser the gravity lesser the weight
