Explanation:

The bodies of boats, ships etc. are made streamlined to allow streamline flow of air ( ie. each particle of air passes through the same point with the same speed and in the same direction) which helps in reducing the effect of drag ( ie. the force of friction exerted by fluids) and helps in gaining more speed.

Answer:

In case of streamlined boat and ships, the v-like shape helps it to cut the water currents and move fast.

In case of an aeroplane, the v-like shape helps it to cut the force and currents exerted by the air on the plane and helps it move fast.
