Answer:

I don’t think that the majority of the world is mad. I think that it seems that way because media makes money from sensationalism. I believe that most people are decent, caring, hard-working, honorable, and are deeply invested in the welfare of their family, friends and neighbors.

There are certainly places in the world where there is mass suffering. It’s said that life is suffering, and I believe that is true, but what I mean is that there are regions where there’s needless suffering inflicted on innocents caught in political and economic crossfire that could be avoided if certain groups behaved in a more ethical, moral fashion. But human beings, as much as I love them, aren’t perfect and they’re going to continue to make massive mistakes that cause pain and death. They’re also going to lash out and do terrible things if they feel trapped and feel like they have no choice.

Having said that, in my experience people are good and given half a chance they’ll do what’s best for each other and their community. So, hold onto hope and don’t listen so much to the screaming monkeys. Listen to your heart, look around you, take care of the people you love, volunteer for good causes, educate yourself, and help spread messages of encouragement. The world is a beautiful place. Let’s respect each other and take care of our world together.
