Van Mahotsav is an annual tree planting movement in India which began in the year 1950 by Kiran Kumar.K . It has gained significant , national importance and every year, millions and millions of saplings are planted all across India in observation of the Van Mahotsav week. It is generally celebrated in the first week of July or from 1st of July till 7th of July . 7th of July is the ending of the first week .
