Why lead does not replace Hydrogen from dil. HCl or H2SO4 though being more active than Hydrogen???????

Lead cannot replace Hydrogen from HCl or H2SO4 because lead forms an insoluble coating of lead chloride (PbCl2) and lead sulphate (PbSO4) on reacting with HCl and H2SO4 which prevent further reaction of the acids with the metal.
