Lime juice contains citric acid and aluminium is a metal

When an acid reacts with a metal, hydrogen is liberated.

Similarly,in this case a small amount of hydrogen is liberated and it may spoil the condition of the lime juice

Hence lime juice must not be stored in an aluminum container
