Here is your answer:-

Merrsmatic tissues aren’t found in plant cells, plant tissues are made of meristematic cells. These new cells don’t yet have a function (they are undifferentiated) and are anywhere in a plant where growth occurs. They become roots, stems or flowers depending on their location and the chemical signals they receive. Apical meristematic tissue is in roots and shoots and causes plants to grow in height and length. Basal meristematic tissue is within mature plant tissue and allows growth at the base (like grass still growing after the top is cut off) and the lateral growth in plants (growth in diameter) happens through lateral meristematic tissue

Hope this answer will help you:)

f we compare plant cell with animal cell then we will find a huge difference between the two. Plant cell at any point of their stage can be revert back to meristematic tissue and can give rise to any plant part or whole part whereas same reversion is not possible in animal cells. Animal cells only have stem cells which can help animal body during repair and can transform into any specialized cells or tissue.

There are two kinds of stem embryonic stem cells and non-embryonic "somatic" or "adult" stem cells.

Stem cells differ from other kinds of cells in the body. All stem cells—regardless of their source—have three general properties: they are capable of dividing and renewing themselves for long periods; they are unspecialized; and they can give rise to specialized cell types.
