why moon and sun appear in same size to us ?.

The distance at which the sun and the moon is present to the earth creates a misunderstanding of size. But if you look carefully you will find that there is a difference in the size of both....and the sun seems much more bigger in size......

it is so because the moon though is immensely smaller than the sun, but due to the fact that it is much closer to the earth than the sun makes the two look of almost equal size.
