'n-butyl bromide' has a larger surface area than 'tertiary-butyl bromide', due to which it has a higher boiling point.

Hey !!

n-Butyl bromide being a straight chain alkyl halide has larger surface area than tert. butyl bromide. Larger the surface area, larger the magnitude of the van der Waal's forces and hence higher is the boiling point.

Good luck !!
