humidity is inversely proportional to temperature that is when temperature increases humidity decreases and vice versa.
we know that temperature is directly proportional to the rate of evaporation
so when humidity is higher the effect of temperature on evaporating the water in clothes (ie) drying decreases
so those clothes take a lot of time to dry

Wet clothes take longer time to dry on a humid day because on a humid day , clothes take longer to dry and sweat from our body does not evaporate easily , making us feel very comfortable....
