why pendulum ball have no kinetic energy when it swings upwards?

because we don't have to push the pendulum for the swings

when you push a pendulum from side to side, it transfers force (energy) into the next ball which forms a chain reaction. When you thow it up, it no longer has anything to transfer energy into.
