Hydrogen is non metal. The reactivity of alkali metals increases down the group, Na is less reactive than K because K is below than Na. The valency of both elements are 1. Which defines that they are reactive. Thus, from down to up in a group the reactivity decreases. Therefore, Reactivity of alkali metals towards hydrogen decreases.
