By collecting electron-hole pairs, the detection signal is formed. Of the available semiconductor materials, silicon is mainly used for charged particle detectors and soft X-ray detectors while germanium is widely used for gamma-ray spectroscopy.....✔️✔️✔️

Be happy always ☺☺☺
