why should we grow seed in moist soil

Actually seeds need moisture and sunlight to germinate.


So we put seeds in wet soil so that seeds can take sufficient water from soil and take sunlight for its growth.


Seeds have all nutrients stored in it for the plant until it grows enough to make its own food through photosynthesis.
