why spherical drops are formed in water

Hey
When water falls down in form of drops it faces surface tension on it's upper as well as lower surfacr therefore its shape is spherical from down and a little pointed from upwards.

In a electric circuit , a resistor of 5 Ampere resistance is connected to a battery of 5V through an ammeter and a plug a key . now , in this circuit , an another resistor of 10 Ampere resistance is connected in series. Will there be any change in the ammeter reading ? how much?
