With the rising population and limited agricultural land, the importance of sustainable development has become quite significant. As per the estimate, the world population is likely to reach by 9 billion by the year 2050, and for feeding all people; an increase of 70% in agricultural production will be required. Here are the few steps that are necessary to encourage agricultural growth through sustainable agriculture and these are;

•    Water Quality and supply of water:
•    Rotation of crops
•    Soil treatment
•    Urban planning
All the above factors are necessary to take care of increased and proper growth of the agricultural products.
