The colour appears when water changes into ice it's because of the presence of air bubble in the water. When youfreeze the water, air bubbles will get trapped inside the ice and which makes the ice whitish in colour.
And when water change into ice it expand because when water liquid is cool, it contract like one would except until of approximately 4 degree Celsius is reached after that, it expands slightly until it reached the freezing point, and then when it freezes it expands by approximately 9%.
Water droplets appear on the surface of the water container because when cold water is poured into container, the water molecules present close to the surface of container condense, due to which water molecules present in the air change their state and appear water droplets sticks to container.
