Why the efficiency of air standard cycle is less than actual cycle?

The following assumptions that had been made for air standard cycles have taken care of in actual cycles:
Variation of specific heats with temperature
Dissociation of combustion products
Exhaust or blowdown losses
Incomplete and progressive combustion of fuels
Heat transfer to cylinder walls
Valve timing
Due to these changes, the actual cycle has noticeable differences from the air standard cycles. The major loss I. The latter would be time loss(due to valve operation), heat loss(friction and radiation and conduction loss),blowdown loss(caused by leakage of exhaust )
