Explanation:

In froth flotation method, generally pine oil is used to produce froths. The pine oil is mixed with the ore water containing sulphide as it's impurity and highly compressed air is passed through  the ore water.

This in turn generates the froth which selectively attracts the sulphide particles on the froth surface. The froth containing the suphide particles then floats on the surface of the ore water which can thereafter be removed by skimming the surface.
