why the number of stomata present on upper surface of a leaf are comparetively less than on the lower surface of leaf​

Answer:

All surface of the leaves have some amount of stomata for regulating gas exchange for photosynthesis . However , the lower epidermis has more , because it is more often in the shade and it is cooler , which means evaporation won't take place as much , evaporation here means plant loses water which is vital for life

Explanation:

stomata present on the upper surface of the leaves has compared to the lower surface of the leaves because stomata needs the direct sunlight so get it get direction light from the uper potion which he need to prepare food with the help of the photosynthesis and among that the chlorophyll which is also used by the stomata .

This is the reason that the no stomata present on the upper part of the leave
