why the ocean currents of the India Ocean are different from those of Pacific and Atlantic oceans

With a northern limit at 60 degree S, the southern ocean differ from the other oceans and that it's largest boundary , the northern boundary does not abut a landmass . Instead the northern limit is with the Atlanic Indian and Pacific oceans .
