they absorb the capacity to prepare food from the carbondioxide and CO2 is useful for plants in respiration and photosynthesis but they also breathe oxygen but in less amount.

juttuc4: did u get it
juttuc4: ask me if u have anymore queries
govindboddeti: i think it does not use carbon-dioxide in respiration
govindboddeti: it does not prepare from it prepare food through it

Firstly good question.

Plants need carbohydrates for obtaining energy.

This process needs oxygen for it.

And this oxygen is produced by carbondioxide by the method of photosynthesis

But the question arises here.why do plants liberate oxygen then?

It is because plants use some amount of oxygen and liberate much oxygen.

It is to be noted that plants even use oxygen that is absorbed during night and carbondioxide that is absorbed during day.

govindboddeti: sorry i didn't get you are you saying that photosynthesis and respiration in plants are related
keerthika1998lekha: no jenny i didnt say so
govindboddeti: but oxygen is not used in photosynthesis
keerthika1998lekha: Photosynthesis is the process by which plants and other things make food. It is a chemical process that uses sunlight to turn carbon dioxide into sugars the cell can use as energy. This requires oxygen
keerthika1998lekha: cleared jenny???
govindboddeti: yaa
keerthika1998lekha: pls mark as best:)
keerthika1998lekha: tq
govindboddeti: its ok
