Why the standard meridian of India is passing throuh India, but the Standard meridian of U.A.E does not pass through U.A.E?

This is because India is a vast country and have a great difference in sunrise timing along East in Gujrat and West in Arrunachal Pradesh. Hence, it is necessary to have a specific time all over the India which is done by taking Standard Meridian of India at 82.300East at the Tropic of Cancer passing through the middle of India.   and the standard time meridian passes nearby it and it doesn't effect it's time as much.
