Heya friend!!
Rajdeep here...
First of all, What is HUMUS?
Humus is the organic matter present in the soil which is formed of dead plants and animal remains and manure.
Topsoil is the outermost layer of the soil exposed to everything whereas subsoil is a layer below the topsoil. Hence, the dead plants, animals and manure that are decomposed by the bacteria gets deposited on the topsoil. Thus humus is more in the topsoil than in the subsoil.
Thanks!!
Hope my answer is satisfactory!!
