Why trees acquires more leaves during summer

because during summer the sun radiates more light and heat energy and due to warmer temperature the process of photosynthesis increases and the metabolism of the cells increases and hence absorbs more light by the chlorophyll (green pigment present in plants) and processes of transpiration also increases.
