When two electric field intersects each other then it show two different value of electric field, which is not possible.
Hence two electric field never intersects each other.

When two electric field lines intersect with each other we get two directions of field lines which is not possible
Explanation:
- A tangent drawn from any electric field line gives the direction of electric field
- When two field lines intersect more than one direction will be obtained which is not possible hence field lines must not intersect
- Electric field lines always form closed loops, and for positive charge these are emitted away from the charge and for negative charge are emitted towards the charge
- Around any continuous charge distribution electric field is symmetrically distributed and can be obtained by using Gauss law
