Why unsaturated hydrocarbon are useful as compared to saturated hydrocarbon for human being ????

It is because....for example...Animal fats generally contain saturated fatty acids which are said to be harmful for health,whereas oils contain unsaturated fatty acids which are commonly used for cooking.

Saturated molecules have only stigma bounds, which are very stable and hard to break.
Unsaturated molecules have pi bounds , and they are weaker. They deform the orbitals slightly and are more stained. Therefore they are easier to break and will react faster.
