Using pesticides is not considered as a good practice in india because, pesticides have demerits, they just go and mix in the ground water which causes the water to be polluted, it also make the crop useless, it also kill some bacteria which is necessary for the crop for the fixing the nitrogen, it is also harmful for us because it when it is mixed with the crop we eat it also spoil your health and cause food poison, and many other diseases therefore using pesticides is not considered as a good practice
