Luigi was called cautious driver by the narrator because when they are going to Verona by passing through outskirts of the city. Two children stopped their car and asked them to to buy some wild strawberries , narrator was much impressed by their demeanour and when he intent to buy some of them ,Luigi stopped him from buying fruits from them as they were shabbily dressed . This cautiousness of Luigi .
