Minhajuddin Siraj has described Qutbuddin as a brave and liberal Sultan. He used to donate millions, hence he was called Lakhbakhsh.

Qutubuddin Aibak donated and helped economically to poor people that's why he also known as Lakh Baksh. Qutub minar which is situated in Delhi is the contribution of Qutubuddin Aibak.
