Robinson Crusoe was afraid of bushes and trees as he thought and took down it has terrifying notion of a living being or a man. This misinterpretation meant he saw every tree and bush as a living man, so, it is clear that undoubtedly Robinson was a sufferer of phobia or Dendrophobia as he is quite petrified by a still standing tree (even going further and taking it literally as a living human) and also a stump of the tree as a man or human, so, he was mistaking every bush and tree as a particular man.
