why was rowlatt act of 1919 unpopular among the Indians??

There were many reasons for its unpopularity some of them are-
1) the act gave the british government supreme power to supress political activities of indians 
2)the act allowed imprisonment(of 2 years) of indian political leaders without any trail
3)throug it the british government aimed to decrease the political activities of indians and to supress it
