Shah Jahan was a great builder and he built many magnificent buildings. That is why many scholars called him the ‘Engineer King’. Shah Jahan’s reign is known as “Golden Age of Mughal Architecture“. He built a wide variety of cities, forts, gardens, mosques and palaces etc. His buildings are located at are located at different places like Ahmedabad, Agra, Ajmer, Lahore, Delhi, Kabul and Kashmir etc. Shah Jahan’s buildings are of astounding beauty. They have no parallel in symmetry of design. The buildings have great strength. The eccentric designed buildings have great balance.
