Why was simmon commission was pointed and why rejected 0 history?

Sir John Simon was invited to India to make amendments in Indian constitution. The commission was named after him. The commission included no Indian members and hence was strongly opposed by all Indians by shouting and showing "Simon Go Back" on black banners.
