Emperor Zain-ul-Abidin was known as "Akbar of Kashmir". He was called so because he was one of the greatest rulers of Kashmir. Like Emperor Akbar he was also a generous and liberal king. He was highly enlightened and promoted different cultures. He was known as ‘Sikander’ for being a great warrior.
