When we in the dark room our pupil is big because we need more light to enter in our eyes to see things in dark room. In the sunshine our pupil will get smaller because we need less light to see things.
At a sudden we get out, our pupil remain in same size as the light enters largely in our eyes thus we can't see thing clearly for a while when we get out of dark room
