Hii
Crisscross method is a method of finding out the chemical formula of a metal and non-metal that combine to form an ionic bond
I'm taking an example of Sodium chloride!
Sodium -- Na (symbol)
chlorine -- Cl (symbol)
valence electron of Na is 1
and valence electron of chlorine is 7
So sodium I'll gave one electron to chlorine to complete it octet and to form Nacl
We use Criss cross method to save our time and for quick results!!
hope this helps you!!
